This paddle was offered as a kit from Norcal ($25). It came with machined parts but the parts were not finished. I spent about 20 hours sanding/painting/polishing the parts. The wooden base was not supplied with the kit. It is a piece of Oak. The paddle finger pieces are made of Walnut. The performance of the paddle is very good. It requires a very light touch.
